The concept behind Blue Banana was created in 2003, and Blue Banana (on-line) Limited was formed in 2004 to handle the Internet sales side of Blue Banana group activities.
Whilst operating initially in the UK, Blue Banana now has a worldwide customer base. With tens of thousands of satisfied customers, many purchasing regularly, we achieved our 100,000th sale early in 2007.
Blue Banana brand
As part of our continuing drive to deliver quality fashionable unique products to our discerning customers, we have introduced a number of designs exclusive to Blue Banana, which we sell under our own Blue Banana® label. We continually work with our designers and suppliers to keep our range of products up to date.
Larger sizes
In response to requests from our customers, we have introduced larger sizes on many of our products. A number of items in the Blue Banana® range are now manufactured up to a UK size 18.

And finally ... why are we called 'Blue Banana'?
We have been asked many times where the name "Blue Banana" came from .... those of you who are Julia Roberts' fans will know that this was the name of the night club in the film Pretty Woman.
